Chocolate Nut Butter Cups Re-Done

Recipe:

  1. In your food processor fitted with the S blade, combine all ingredients for the nut filling.
  2. Blend until smooth and uniform 
  3. Roll the mixture into balls and then flatten into patties gently using the palm of your hand.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and transfer to the freezer for 20 minutes
  5. Add the chocolate ingredients to the food processor and process until smooth
  6. Remove the nut butter disks from the freezer and dip into the chocolate
  7. Return to the freezer as needed until hardened

Ingredients:

Nut Butter Filling :

  • 1/4 cup dried shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup cashews or skinless almonds 
  • 2 tablespoons cacao butter, melted (use a warm water bath)
  • 2-3 TB raw agave
  • Pinch of salt 


Chocolate:

  • 2 tablespoons cacao butter, melted (use a warm water bath)
  • 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
  • 4 TB raw agave
  • Touch of salt
