A Healthy Start to a New Decade

A Healthy Start to a New Decade

No More Resolutions

2020 balloons - blog by o2 living makers of organic cold-pressed fruit and vegetable Living Juice2020 is here, and with it a fresh start! At O2 Living, we're excited to start this new decade with our best foot forward. That's why we're saying NO to resolutions. Why should we continue to make strict rules for ourselves and then feel guilty and blame ourselves when we inevitably fail? We're not resolving anything this year or this decade. Instead, we're going to honor ourselves and our bodies with intention. We're being intentional about our health and wellness in 2020 and the years to come.

Healthy Living is a Lifestyle, Not a Resolution

Embracing healthy living shouldn’t be a resolution that comes around once a year; it should be a mind-set, a lifestyle, a long-term goal to improve both body, and your mind. That's why this year we're taking small steps towards a healthier lifestyle.

Join Us for Our 6-Week Wellness Journey

For the next 6 weeks, we're going to be taking steps to be more mindful about our health and wellness. We hope that you will join us in this fun and lasting journey to being our healthiest selves!

Week 1 - Start Moving!

Woman stretching - blog by O2 Living makers of organic cold-pressed fruit and vegetable Living JuiceYour skin is one of the main ways in which toxins can be eliminated from your body. Vigorous exercise causes your body to sweat, therefore removing harmful toxins while also enhancing circulation and improving your overall health (win-win!). You should aim to create a balanced training program that includes both cardio (walking, spinning, kickboxing even) and weight training (free weights, resistance machines, body weight exercises), and exercise for about 30 minutes a day. Along with a regular exercise program that encourages sweating, you can also experiment with yoga (which is likely to get you sweating!) and has specific poses designed to facilitate detoxification.

This week we're aiming to exercise! We're not quantifying how many times or for how long, but we are being intentional about the movement and exercise that we are able to get. We may even treat ourselves to a healthy and delicious organic, cold-pressed juice following our workout!
